House of wisdom - Shurooq

The House of Wisdom was commissioned by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah in celebration of Sharjah winning the UNESCO World Book Capital 2019 title.The building was designed by the award-winning architectural company, Foster + Partners. It extends over 12,000 square metres and includes a futuristic structure serenely surrounded by gardens and outdoor activity spaces. The architecture, which is sustainably driven, seamlessly integrates natural lighting and nature. Each space is designed to be functional and adaptive to the needs of the community. Green Concept creates a beautiful and meaningful view for this place that thrilled a lot of visitors. The House of Wisdom in Sharjah has won Best Landscape Architecture at The Arabian Property Awards. Architects of the iconic building, Foster + Partners also picked up awards for Best Public Service Architecture and Interior.
